Privacy notice

This notice explains how Billion Realty Inc., Brokerage ("we") handles personal information collected through thebillionrealty.com. We follow the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

  • Information you submit in an enquiry: name, email, optional phone number, enquiry type, optional asset type, your message, and any property reference.
  • If you apply to join the brokerage as an agent: your registration status, focus, and optionally your current brokerage and a profile link. Applications are used only for recruiting and are seen by our Broker of Record and the people involved in hiring.
  • The page you submitted from and the time of submission.
  • If you opt in to market insights: your consent, the wording you agreed to and the time you agreed.

This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies.

How we use it

To respond to your enquiry, route it to the right professional, keep a record of our communication, and, only if you opted in, send market insights. We do not sell or rent personal information.

Where it is stored

Enquiries are sent to our team by email through our Microsoft 365 account and recorded in our client relationship management system, Billion OS. The website and Billion OS are hosted on a virtual private server provided by Hostinger. Our email is provided by Microsoft 365.

MLS® listings and PropTx

Listing information on this website comes from the MLS® System operated by PropTx. Personal information you provide when enquiring about a listing may be shared with PropTx and the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board for auditing and legal purposes, as required by MLS® rules.

Retention

We keep enquiry and contact records, and any consent records, until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from market insights at any time using the link in any message. You can ask to access or correct your personal information, or withdraw consent, by emailing info@billiongroup.ca.
